Real Fender MIJ Candy Apple Red Jaguar body. First let me say that there is a lot of reflection in the pictures from our case rack. My apologies. The body is in nice condition. It does have a few extra pickguard screw holes that will be covered when you place a guard on it. It has some light surface scratches and a few teeny tiny dings. Nothing major at all., Stop looking, buy now and be done with it. Make your guitar all original or finish you project.

JAGUAR-TELE HYBRID EASTERN WHITE PINE GUITAR BODY PROJECT
The item you are bidding on is a brand new, never used, excellent condition, solid JAGUAR/TELE Hybrid-Style Guitar Body.
This beautiful one-of-a-kind, classic-shaped double cutaway solid guitar body project is composed of solid Eastern White Pine. The slab-style body is similar to a Tele in thickness but with a distinctive Jaguar/Jazzmaster-styled design.
The JAGUAR/TELE Hybrid-Style Guitar Body is routed and set-up like a Tele, with the standard control plate rout, Tele-bridge single coil pickup rout and neck single coil rout (approx. 3 1/8"). The body is approximately 13 1/2" wide at the widest point x 19 " long x 1 3/4" thick and weighs in at a very light 4 1/2" lbs. sans hardware.
The standard-size neck pocket measures approximately 2 3/16" wide x 3 " long and should retrofit a Fender guitar neck and a similar type guitar or baritone neck should also fit well. Structurally and cosmetically the guitar body is in excellent condition with no cave-ins, gouges or chunks of wood missing. The guitar body has been sanded by the manufacturer with 150 grit sandpaper.
The body is unfinished and unsealed and may require final sanding based on your preference. I would recommend a nice transparent stain to bring out the lovely grain pattern. This body is exactly as it came from the luthier, no work has been done on it. Unfortunately, I don't have the time right now to finish this project so I must part with it. I was going to make a Fender Bass VI 6-string bass guitar out of it.
There are no pickups, electronics or hardware included with the body. You will need to add the control plate, output jack, pickups and string ferrules (not included) on the back for a strings through body setup.
PLEASE NOTE: This is a project and will require some wiring and set-up, by yourself or a qualified guitar tech. I have attempted to document the condition as accurately as possible without benefit of an electron microscope or a team of scientists.
With a little patience, creativity and a guitar neck, you will be rocking this guitar in no time. This Jaguar/Tele-style solid guitar body could also be utilized to create a custom short scale bass, baritone guitar or your retro dream ax.
