Easy to do-it-yourself just peal and stick!The most common question I am asked is if I can make these for a 7 string body. Well an Ibanez Universe or any RG 7 string body is exactly the same size on the outside as a 6 string RG body. The only difference is the width of the neck pocket, pickup cavity's and the tremolo cavity. So yes this kit will work, it just requires a little extra trimming around the body cavity's.
The second most common question is if this graphic kit can be cleared over, again the answer is yes. You can use a rattle can or a pro-finish and get great results. The graphic will not shrink or curl up due to the clear coat.

Couple of things first... When buying parts to assemble a guitar, know what you are getting into. You must be willing to work it, especially you first time builders and young folks out there. If you are not willing to take the time to do this then the best advice I can give you is don't get into guitar building. Guitar building is a craft, learned in may cases by trial and error. The ability to remain patient and adapt as needed is important. There are many, many free online tips posted by folks just like you. Speaking for my parts, and my parts alone, we sell a quality product at a workingmans price. It's up to you to work with it and make the guitar. You can do it, trust me. Guitars made from my parts are used daily around the entire World.. ( yes, it's true) the same parts I sell on eBay....That said, thousands of my customers have built quality guitars from parts and felt a great degree of satisfaction, going on to build more. So, all I can say is, if you are looking for perfection and don't want to do the work, move on. Thanks for understanding and now on to the product.....

This is the 2010 model .. ... this is a great Classic Burst, going from a honey inside to a red to a black.... Please read the description carefully and study the PICS, give them time to load, especially if you are on a dial up connection. This unit features: A full solid Alder body (wood grain will vary) , 25.5" scale, please study the detailed PICS for additional info. Yes, I had the nerve to name a body after me. Why not..? There is also a story here, so bear with me. I have sold this model for many years. For a twist, I decided I wanted to relic all of these. (a relic job is when you intentionally beat up a body to make it look old, in case you're wondering) Well, I decided that if a customer wanted a relic, I would leave that up to them. It just turned into too much work. However, I am giving you, on the house, the reliced gold control plate, the reliced gold neckplate & screws as well as a new white 3 ply guard. The rear string ferrules are also on me, however, you'll get either chrome or gold, no choice. I will also add that I make these with the control plate at a slight angle as well as not perfectly aligning the rear ferrules.. just like a handmade vintage body. The finish on these is great and the body makes a great guitar........ Strap peg holes, bridge holes, etc are drilled. ...... Please take a moment and look hard at the pics which will also provide you with additional details. Keep in mind that you are bidding on just a body, although there is an example pic of a complete unit posted. I believe that you need good pictures to make an informed bidding decision. The Maple Rosewood Uni Neck or the Maple Maple Uni Neck are a good match.... If you buy a body and neck of the same model at the same time, I will personally make sure you get the best match.
Many customers email me and ask how my bodies and necks can be sold so reasonably.
The answer is simple... 1) I sell at wholesale to the Public. I'm not making 3 tons of money and I don't want to be Bill Gates. 2) I run a small, low overhead shop. 3) The high end goods from the high end makers will have much more attention spent in the hidden details. Cavities, etc. My units are designed to look good where it counts and that's what you actually see when the guitar is finished. In addition, I do not consider minor paint imperfections and such to be major issues. A handmade neck or body is not going to be absolutely perfect. That's just the way it is. Unless, of course, you want to drop a few grand. So, in a nutshell, that's how Uncle Willie does it.

All Bodies and Necks are run thru a final inspection as well as a final polish and on necks the fretboard is conditioned before shipment. It's usually 2 - 3 Business days on a neck and a body before shipment. I just want you to be happy. I also DO NOT guarantee any companies parts fitting my bodies and necks perfectly unless I sell the parts. Contrary to what you may have heard, guitar parts are not standard or universal. The major makers have all changed specs more that once over the years.
The pictures you see on my auctions are my own. I don't use stock photos. Keep in mind that on anything wood, the grain pattern is going to vary from one unit to the next.
